 Ail

Return to the Main Characters Page .

Ail Latouchi (Clan Gangrel)
The taste of Paradise was indeed bittersweet.

Description:
Unshaven stubble running up finely into a head of dirty brown-blonde hair. Eyes of light grey with a hint of insanity brooding behind the young, yet oh so old, lids. Ail is a picture of the modern yuppie. He attires himself in either a smart pinstriped suit or casual wear, composing normally of a tank top, loose trousers and light jacket. He reaches a height of just below 6 foot, and is fairly lithe in build.

On the whole, he can be seen as smart. Overly smart.

Meticulously smart.

Obsessively smart.

Background:
Ail was born and raised with a silver spoon in his mouth - albeit a rather rusty silver spoon. The Latouchi family originated from Italy; however young Ail grew up in the countryside of modern day America in the towering manor not so far away from Los Angeles. After progressing through law school and getting a job as a lawyer, Ail lost much of his lust for life as well as his father who fell to lung cancer three days before his 23rd birthday (his mother had passed away much earlier, when he was only a young boy.)

Though he spent some time in grieving with his sister, Eleanor, he passed quickly over into a state of philosophizing meditation; spending most of his times away from the city in the confines of his home were he could be at peace for himself.

For a while.

Until, that is, he was drawn astray by promises. Promises of things he could not comprehend, or ever hope to. And, one fateful night, after being drawn away from the clutches of an easterner of the clan Nagaraja; fell into the capable hands of two Gangrel.

One, Alaana, the other, Darquinian. It is was then, nude, on the counter of some Frisco couple’s kicthen, he was reborn.

Character Perceptions:
To most Ail will seem nervy. He can be perceived as being very jumpy and uneasy with all that is around him. His compulsion to keep things organized is thought on by some to be a physical sign of his mental degeneration; whether or not this is true is debatable.
