Oldan Visuce (Clan Ravnos)
Is he one of the last of his clan,
or are there others in hiding?
Description:
Oldan Visuce stands 6' 2" and looks to weigh 180 pounds. He is a thin, hardworn
creature with olive skin and dark, mischievous eyes. Long black hair frame his thin
weather-beaten face. Everything that appears on Oldan's face tend to make people
think he is harmless, good-natured, and funny kind of guy. Oldan does his best to
keep up these looks, that way you won't notice when he has taken your watch, wallet,
and underwear.
Background:
Oldan moves around quite a bit. He is difficult to track at the best of times. Those
with gypsy alliances may track him to various places, including: 1850's: Eastern
Europe; he was seen all over. 1880's: England making appearances at court as the
Voivode of some small, obscure Romanian district (that most educated men would realize
doesn't exist). 1900's: Traveling with various gypsy bands as an entertainer. 1910-1950's:
Oldan apparently disappeared from the mortal realm, and concentrated on Kindred
Society all over the Western World. 1950-present: Journeying around the New World.
Making alliances and enemies everywhere. Oldan is known to be banned from at least
4 domains and if he returns, the Blood Hunt is threatened to be called. The domains
known are Seattle, WA, Los Angeles, CA, Washington, D.C., and Boston, MA.
Character Perceptions:
Oldan speaks freely, too freely. Oldan is obviously haunted by various facets of
his past: the most noticeable one being the apparent destruction of his Clan. Oldan
hates hearing about the event, and will try to do anything to avoid hearing about
it. Oldan is very humane and seems to deplore violence. Although, as of late he
shows an unbridled hatred of Mortals, it is specifically aimed at Mages.
Oldan seems to take either friendship,
or resentment in a very expedient manner. He seems to choose one way or the other
very fast. He seems to have chosen friendship with many of the Great Hall already.
He has already shown kinship with Elijah Robert Marks, the poor, torn Caitiff, with
whom Oldan can empathize. Nikodemus: Oldan's favorite harrassment-mate, an ongoing
inside joke about the origins of Nikodemus' name and the fact that he has been hush-hush
about his Clan have spurred Oldan to new levels of mischievousness. Less apparent
friendships involve Vash, Krouser, Szandor, and Altiriel.
