Characters Page. William "Chill" Chancer (Clan
Caitiff) Description: He moves with a swift determination.
One bound up in the confidenct that, while he does not always know his goal, he
will not be waylayed from his course. Many compare him to his industry name of 'Chill',
remarking that it decends from his perpetual cold sholder, rather than his grace
under fire. And he cannot be found when he does
not want to be. A chill wind in the background. Background: If you do it right, no one gets hurt. A year later, he was adopted by a
man who had need for a desposable youth with a quick hand. A tall man, garbed in
black, with an italian accent. The man desired certain computer disks that belonged
to a hacker that was perticulerly vigilant around his men. Chancer tried, but was
caught in the act. The hacker, Val Haiten, did not ignore him. They estabished a
rapor, and soon custody of William was transfered, from the italian, to Val. A year later, Chancer and Val where
working city level theivery independently. By the time Chancer could drive, they
were accepting contracts from out of state. The year Chancer cast his first ballot
in a presidential election, they stole a vase of no small monetary value from the
white house's east wing. That was when he adopted the name 'Chill', and gained a
reputation in the industry. Over the next five years, Chancer
and Val begain working their opperation across europe, but always maintaining the
curio shop storefront in Chicago. During the collapse of the soviet union they gained
the partnership of Illyana Barajov, an ex-soviet survellence specilist. After two
years continuing their lucrative trade, The trio was returning from it's most recent
job in europe. Chancer had gone ahead to unlock the shop. Such was not to be. He was attacked
and embraced on the street, staked out for the sun. Illyana found him two hours
before sunrise, and in trying to move him, jarred the stake loose. He speed off
faster than she could have tracked. He returned the next night, and explained
to the best of his understanding, what had happened. He had become a vampire, and
now had to subsist on living blood. But he never told them what happened that night,
exept one thing. The first law of theivery applies
