"Folks, if you ever meet this person, all I can say is run. If the hunters ever had the equivelant of a methuselah, this would be him... to the point where young hunters don't even believe he exists."

-- Elijah Robert Marks, speaking to coterie in the Great Hall

He calls himself Lazarus, and he is perhaps the greatest man of faith in this age. An independent hunter, he travels where he is needed, cooperating with local hunters to bring down big problems.

According to Elijah Marks (who had worked closely with him, once, when still mortal), Lazarus appears to be in his late 40s or early 50s, thin, slight build, has flaming red hair with a touch of grey on the sideburns. He is completely blind, and always wears solid black glasses. He dresses well, but simply -- nothing extravagant, favors light-colored suits. He carries a very heavy cane made of wood, but no one has ever seen him use it as a stake.

Although blind, Lazarus seems to be able to find his way around, after a fashion, as though he had some kind of sixth sense that replaced his sight. He is always polite, kind, and extremely dedicated to his work. He does not appear to display any hatred towards his prey, but has not been known to show any mercy towards his intended targets, either...
